Chimobi Onye is a Project Management Fellow at JAF Creative Solutions and a recent graduate of the University of California, Irvine, where he earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Criminology, Law and Society and Urban Studies. He also competed for four years as a shot put and discus thrower on the UCI Men’s Track & Field team. His interdisciplinary background has shaped his interest in the relationship between urban development, law, public policy, sports, and community-focused work.

At JAF, Chimobi supports project management and community engagement efforts through project coordination, research, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. His work provides hands-on experience navigating complex projects and understanding the public, private, and community interests that shape them.

Chimobi plans to attend law school and pursue a legal career, building upon his academic background and experience at JAF to explore how legal practice can help navigate complex challenges and create meaningful impact for clients and communities.
