Hello JAF Family,

As we wrap up Q2 of 2026, I've been reminded that while projects may be the work we do, people are the reason we do it. Every successful initiative begins with individuals who are willing to invest their time, talents, and passion into creating stronger communities.

This quarter, that commitment has been evident in so many ways. We welcomed new interns and our Design Strategy Fellow (Cassius Palacio), celebrated our mult-year high school marketing intern Allison Chen as she graduated and begins her journey at Stanford University, and saw our professional team members continue to be incredible leaders across our project portfolio. At the same time, our team continued advancing transformative work at LAX Terminal 5, kicked off the LA Metro Zero Emission Bus Infrastructure project, expanded our community engagement efforts in Westminster and Anaheim, and were honored to be selected for three new public-sector projects that will allow us to create impact in even more communities.

As JAF continues to grow, my greatest source of excitement isn't simply the projects ahead but the people who will bring them to life. Whether it's a student just beginning their career, a professional team member maximizing their skillsets, a community member sharing their voice, or a client trusting us with their vision, each person plays a role in building something that lasts far beyond any single project.
