JAF Quarterly Newsletter

Message from the CEO

From the Q1 2026 Newsletter

Hello JAF Family,

As we close out Q1 of 2026, I’ve been reflecting on a simple idea that continues to guide our work: impact today = legacy tomorrow. The actions we take now, no matter how big or small, are shaping the communities, opportunities, and systems that will define the future.

This quarter has been a strong reminder of that responsibility. At LAX Terminal 5, the completion of demolition marks a major step forward in a project that is not just about infrastructure, but about long-term access, opportunity, and workforce pathways. We also continued investing in the next generation leading design and planning workshops at Inglewood High School, right within LAX’s impact area.

Our work in Little Saigon in Westminster and community branding efforts in Anaheim further reflect our commitment to meeting communities where they are, in partnership with City staff, helping shape narratives, strengthen identity, and ensure that development is rooted in authenticity and inclusion.

Each of these efforts may look different on the surface, but they are all connected by the same goal: to create meaningful impact today that builds lasting legacy for tomorrow. That is the work of JAF, and I’m grateful to be on this journey with all of you.

With purpose,

~Joshua A. Foster, CEO
