Hello JAF Family,

As we close out the first quarter of 2025, we do so in a time of deep reflection. Local wildfires, national struggles for justice and freedoms, and global crises of violence and displacement weigh heavily on all of us. These challenges remind us why our work at JAF is more important than ever.

In the face of uncertainty, we remain steadfast in our mission—to strengthen the communities we live and work in, to empower individuals to lead solutions from within, and to use our expertise to create spaces that uplift and support those who need it most. Change starts at home, and we are committed to ensuring that our work doesn’t just build structures, but builds opportunities, resilience, and hope.

At the same time, we recognize that impact extends beyond our immediate reach. We stand with and support the activists and leaders fighting for justice in spaces outside our own. As we continue forward, let’s stay focused, engaged, and ready to be the change we wish to see—both in our communities and in the world.
